Coordination meeting in Kyiv on January 14, 2016 Kyiv, Sofiivska St. Vision Zero for Ukraine is participating in a coordination meeting to develop methodologies and programs for open lessons, which will soon begin to be conducted by new police officers in Ukrainian schools, writes Viktor Zagreba.
"I am glad to see a very high-quality and open approach to work from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police. Representatives of the Patrol Police, the Department of Juvenile Prevention, the Ministry of Education, UNICEF, La Strada, Canadian and EU technical assistance projects are closely integrated into the process and are sitting at this round table." Very high level of work organization, meaningful short dialogues, updates, agreements, questions and answers, proposals. The meeting started minute by minute and lasted exactly one hour. As a result: everyone is satisfied, everyone understands the results of the meeting, further steps, deadlines. Here I really like such meetings, but they happen so rarely in this country! (for now) So, friends, systemic changes are underway, there is no turning back. And in my opinion, this is a victory ."
